With a great performance Lube Banca Marche Macerata got back to Sisley Treviso by winning Finals Game 2 at the PalaVerde.
A match with a lot of emotions ended only at the tie break won by Macerata, and by the always shinning star Ivan Miljkovic, MVP of the second finals challenges thanks to his 29 points.
Finals Game 2 started from 1-0 di Finale parte dall’1-0 Sisley with the PalaVerde finally filled up.
Lube started very well especially with Dennis but the whole team is doing well because of an inspired Sintini
Treviso is ahead but after few attack errors (a total of ten in the set) allow Macerata to be in front 16-14 after the second time out.
Sisley opposite Fei is able to score amazing points in the same way he made huge errors.
But it is from Fei’s hands that the crucial points of the end of the set start from. Ho scores two aces that gives to Sisley a 4 point break.
The score reaches 23-19 and the set seems over but the Macerata pride reaction is strong and the sest goes to Treviso for only 25-23.

Great Macerata start on the second set: the team goes ahead 9-6 and 14-10 with Miljikovic great as usual.
The opposite player tonight seems to play as he really knows. De Giorgi’s team keep the advantage also because Sisley keeps making errors. The score is now 13-18 but after a Macerata relaxing moment Treviso is back on track and goes even ahead 22-21. But Herpe attacks and Rodrigao blocks deliver the set to Macerata for 27-25. .
Winning the second set gives Macerata the right attitude and the third set starts again in Macerata favour. Score is 13-8 with Sintini able to play heaps of fastballs with Geric and Rodrigao. At the second time out Macerata is ahead 16-11.
But like in the second set Lube slow down and let Treviso to come back to play another breath taking end of the set.
But once again at the end is Macerata with Miljkovic and Rodrigao to close the third set in its favour.
In the fourth set Sisley serves goes much better and Treviso is eventually ahead at the beginning of a set: and even if De Giorgi helps the team by replacing Sintini with Monopoli at the second time out Treviso is ahead 16-10.
Even if Macerata fights back and reach 20-18 Sisley experience deliver the set for 25-20 and the teams are now at the tie-break..
As most of the times the Tie break is full of emotions: 5-3 for Macerata at the beginning then 7-4 still for Macerata. Treviso does not give up and recovers up to 8-9 with Samuele Papi. Then Sintini starts to use Miljikovic for the heavy points and the opposite sends the team ahead 14-11. When Fei serve goes out the match is definetely over and reward Macerata.
Commentsi:

Ferdinando De Giorgi (Macerata Coach): “We have been really good. Tonight we played as we know and for sure with more quality than in Game 1”.
Daniele Bagnoli (Treviso coach): “It has been a very tight match. We did lose because of too many mistakes and because we have been too nervous. We didn’t play well for a big part of the match and in the crucial moments what made the difference has been the different attitude”.
