Giotto Padova: The final four of Coppa Cev starts today in Padova. President Sartorati together with local authorities such as Mauro Fecchio, Claudio Sinigaglia, Ubaldo Lonardi and Giancarlo Daniele, show the details of the event. From the artistic and cultural promotion of the city to the different ways to get the tickets (already 1000 have been sold).
“We took a big responsability” Giotto team’s coach Luigi Schiavon said. “But we like these challenges. We arrived at the final four also with a touch of luck and now we have to try to arrive at the end, our goal is the final and we will do everything to reach it”
For the semifinal match Schiavon knows what to do: “Russian team should be favourite, they are technically strong and they are a powerfull team. We have to play well and be smart: if we will play as we know we have good chances to win”
Tickets are still on sale: Giotto Padova – Iskra Odintsovo is the first semifinal of PadovaCEV 2006 and it is scheduled this saturday at 4.30 PM.
