Giotto Padova: with the arrival of Giorgio De Togni, Sempre Volley team is almost completed. Only one spiker is missing from the starting six.
Giorgio De Togni, middleblocker 21 years old, is a young talented player arriving from Ferrara. He declared: “Playing in A1 was my hope and I couldn’t ask for anything better than a serious Club such as Padova to start. I just can’t wait to begin. I know it will be complitely different from Serie A2 but it was time to dare. My block is not bad and I can improve my attack skills and coach Schiavon is, according to me, one of the best coaches around especially for young players like me”
De Togni won an Under 20 national title and a bronze mdeal in the 2005 pre juniores European Championships.
De Togni played with Ferrara from 2001 to 2004. He also played with Treviso and Mantova.
He will stay with Padova for two years.
