Monini Spoleto: The match should have been won easilly by Castellana. That is what everybody thought before the beginning of the match especially after the loss of last Sunday and the Castellana victory against leader Crema.

Second set very tight. Spoleto goes ahead 8-6, but Castellana reacts and goes ahead 9-11.
Castellana keeps staying ahead and close the set 21-25.
In the third set after the first time out Castellana is ahead 5-8, but Spoleto keeps fighting and after the second set the score is 15-16 and in the final of the set Monini scores the final break and goes ahead 25-23.
In the fourth set setter Paolucci has to go out for a abdominal injury and young Luca Degli Esposti (born in 1986) replaced him. The set goes to Castellana able to close it 21-25.
Tiebreak very tight with Spoleto that changes on the score of 8-7. Medenis and Perez are well served by Degli Esposti. At the end only a Joel ace deliver the victory to Castellana.
Very good performance for the whole team that showed attitude and spirit against a very strong team like Castellana.
