Prisma Taranto: Prisma Taranto still on the market: setter Juan Manuel De Palma is arriving. Third player bought after Marco Nuti and middleblocker Renato Felizardo. President Antonio Bongiovann Club does not stop and still want to build a great team for the next season.
THE ATHLETE
Juan Manuel De Palma, 38 anni, was born in Buenos Aires thel 10th January 1968. 180cm tall, he started his carrer with Obras Sanitarias and Atenco Popular from 1979 to 1985. From 1985 until 1989 he played in Aregentinian Serie A with Obras Sanitarias. In 1991 he arrives in Italy to play in Serie A2. From ’91 to ’94 he plays in Sassari. From 1995 to 1999 he plays with Montecchio, Schio and Mezzolombardo (two season). In season 1999/2000 he plays with Club Vacanze Taranto and conquers the promotion in Serie A1. From 2000 to 2002 he is in Grottazzolina, from 2002 to 2004 with Schio. In 2004 he goes to Igo Genova, in B1, and get promoted in A2. In the last season De Palma played 30 matches scoring 51 points (an average of 1.7 per match). At the age of 38, De Palma will play with Taranto his first Serie A1 season of his carrer.
