Marmi Lanza Verona: The aussie capitain of Marmi Lanza Verona, Daniel Howard, commented the loss against Cuneo: “They played really well, putting a huge pression on us, since the beginning of the match, with their serves. Our serve, on the ohter hand, has not been good as usual.”
Marmi Lanza fought with Cuneo only on the last set and Howard points out: “If we had played with the intensity of the last last for the whole match maybe we could have achieved more. But now we need to move on, learn from the mistakes in order to play against Modena next sunday in the best condition.”
Positve note from the crowd, once again amazing and numerous (more than 5000 people!): “The crowd is always amazing” Howard concluded “It is awesome to play at the PalaOlimpia and we hope that all the supporters will be back for the next home match because they give us a huge help”.
