Fiorese Bassano: His name is Maikel Moreno Salas, 25 years old, setter. The Club is thinking about it also because of the injury of Bertrand Carletti. The french setter is recovering from a knee injury and the Club want to use all the care and attention to have the player back on track without problems. Carletti is still waiting to know the gravity of his injury but probably a couple of weeks or rest are needed.
So the club decided to look at the setter from cuba. Maikel already trainned yesterday with the team showing his qualities but to officially close the deal there is still to wait for some burocratic problem with his federation.
Maikel has escaped from Cuba and for the last two years he trainned with few italian teams Montichiari, Verona and Vibo Valentia. He could not be officially part of the team because of his position of political refugee but 15 days ago he received the ok from the FIVB and Bassano has a chance to make him part of the team.
