With one week to go before the beginning of the championship, the victory at the “Sparti Memorial” is a good sign for Prisma Taranto. The success (vitory in the semifinal 3-1 against Japan Tobacco and 3-0 against Tonno Callipo Vibo Valentia in the final) gave positve confirmations to Coach Di Pinto that said: “I am very happy not only for the result but most of all ofr the attitude and the spirit shown by the whole group: players, coaches, doctors and everyone! Castellano, Pavan, Nuti, Vicini and Patriarca worked very well since the beginning of the preparation. Granvorka has just arrived and he is still recovering from his injury so I didn’t dare to use him yet but his attitude has been positive already. Good signs also from Ricciardello and De Palma that played very well in the difficult moments of the matches!”
Now everyone is waiting for Sunday when the championship will officially begin: “We will face the match in Trento with serenty and confidence because we know we have worked very well until now and we know that the beginning of the championship will be pretty hard for us because our team is young and different from last year. But everything can happen…”
