Marmi Lanza Verona: Verona defeated in the first friendly match but the team keeps working as scheduled in order to prepare the next friendly matches and most of all the first match of the championship scheduled on the 10th of September in Cuneo. Coach Dagioni said: “This was a great chance to to a high level trainning session. I wasn’t looking for the result. All the parts where we had problems were forseen. They served very well and strongly and that is one of the reasons why they won. What we wanted to do was to verify some of the issues we worked on and I must say that it went pretty well. We are surely getting ready for the championship. Today we had the chance to verify our actual level. We played against a very competitive and strong team. We fough point to point especially in the second set while in the first and third we had problems in receiving their serves ”
