Itas Diatec Trentino: Trento, 10 September 2006

After a five weeks battle, Itas Diatec Trentino came out defeated from the PalaTrento. So bad start for Lattari’s boys still looking for the best team game and still not good enogh in serving and attacking.
Taranto deserved the victory and the score could have been even heavier because Taranto was ahead 22-20 in the fourth set but Rinascimento serves helped Trento to take the match at the tiebreak.
So Prisma Taranto goes home with two points. Good match for Di Pinto team especially in attack and defense. Worth mentioning Anderson performance with 28 points and 62% in attack.
Trento played well in some moments and bad in others, showing a good volleyball and a good spirit and attitude at times. There is plenty of work to do and Lattari knows it. He said: “Today for us it was important to get even one point. Our game is not at the best yet. We play well a couple of points, then we make easy errors in the couple after. It can happen at this point of the season. We need to keep up with the hard work. Tonight Taranto could have gone home with three points so we should be happy about the point we have been able to get at the end.”
Trento crowd has been anyway happy to see Stefan Hubner back with the team after being busy all summer with his national team.
