Mercatone Uno Pineto: Mercatone Uno team is trying to quickly forget the big disappointment at the Casarano Final Eight, where President D’Orazio’s team get so close to an historical victory.
Coach Chiovini talks about the situation after Casarano match:
“Maybe we lost the match with the 3rd set that we could have won. We are really sorry we didn’t win. We would have been able to give a great joy to our fans who followed the match in every possible way. But we played an amazing match with Taranto, showing to ourselves and to everyone that we are very strong also when we don’t play in our arena.”
After the Coppa Italia it’s time to think about the upcoming match at Ferrara.
In the previous match against Ferrara, Mercatone Uno had to work really hard to beat them 3-1. This time Ferrara will be without 2 very important players (Luca Sirri and Negrao) but the match is going to be tough anyway and definitely not to be understimate. Ferrana never surrenders and all the games are now very difficult as Coach Chiovini remember “There are not simple matches and nobody want to lose”
