Materdomini Volley.It Castellana Grotte: Gianni D’Onghia boys after wining against Bari in the semifinal, lost 3-1 in the final against Modugno Noicattaro Volley.
Coach is pretty happy anyway about the performance of the team: “It has been a good test for us that gave us the chance to verify the level of preparation we are at. Modugno looked in better shape. We are still recovering from the big phisical work done in order to arrive at the Championship in the best possible condition. Pascual arrival will give us the chance to work even better now!”
Mater played with Fabroni setter and Joel opposite, Creus and Barbone middleblockers, Libraro and Rinaldi spikers, and Guglielmi libero.
Now the next event in on the weekend when in Castellana there will be to tournament “Water for Africa”. The team will take part together with Isernia, Cagliari and Bari. The tournament will be a charity tournament and the income will go to the Rotary Foundation to finance a project to deliver water in Africa.
