Matera registered its first signing of the summer with Alessandro Giosa. The experienced middle blocker earned two promotions in the A1 in as many years with Castellana Grotte and Molfetta. During his career, the southerner has managed to stay at the highest level without ever going too far away from home: he played for Gioia del Colle, Taranto, Latina, Modugno, Taviano, Isernia, Castellaa and Molfetta last year.
