Verona’s middle blocker, Aidan Zingel, shined with Australia as he helped his national team qualify for the World Championships 2014, to take place in Poland. In Canberra, Zingel was basically perfect during all three days as Australia collected wins over Kuwait, Kazakhstan and Thailand. In the game against Kazakhstan, Zingel, who is captain of the team, registered 4 blocks for a total of 15 points. Now Australia will prepare for the Asian championships to take place from September 28 to October 6 in Dubai.
