Good game at the Parini arena as Cantù surrendered at the tie-break against Corigliano in the last game of the season. Cantù gathered therefore a point in its last A2 game before playing in the lower division next season.
“We have done the usual –said coach Della Rosa despite a nice come-back – We had played two sets getting better and better to make a great comeback, only to make things difficult for ourselves in the end. In the tie-break you cannot give away two points in reception. An ace, then a horrible ace, one mistake on a high ball and that was over”.
