Robbert Andringa, a thirty-four year old Dutch spiker and receiver from Assen, will wear the Gas Sales Bluenergy Volley Piacenza shirt again next season.

The extension of the relationship between the player and Gas Sales Bluenergy Volley Piacenza was signed in recent days with satisfaction on both sides. In the 2023-2024 season Andringa made 34 appearances with 48 sets played between the Regular Season, Italian Cup, Scudetto Play Off and 5th place Play Off.

Robbert Andringa is in his second season in the Italian championship, after playing for six seasons in Poland where he wore the shirt of AZS Olsztyn. He also played in Holland with Lycurgus Groningen, in the Belgian championship where he won the Belgian Cup and the Belgian Super Cup with Volley Aalst and in the French championship with Stade Poitevin Poitiers. Since 2010 he has been part of the Dutch national team now coached by the Italian Roberto Piazza and in this period he is involved in the VNL.

“In Piacenza – said Robbert Andringa – I felt very good, being still in this team next year also makes me proud. I was hoping for a reconfirmation and when it was proposed to me I didn’t hesitate a bit in accepting. We work well in Piacenza, it is a serious club with clear and important objectives, I will be ready whenever my contribution is needed, as I did last season.”

“Andringa is an athlete – underlines Sports Director Ninni De Nicolo – who has deserved confirmation thanks to his seriousness, professionalism and availability demonstrated during the week in training and in matches when called upon. He will be a fundamental player available to coach Anastasi.”
