Marcello Mattioli is no longer the second coach of Delta Group Porto Viro. In the past few hours, the Emilian coach has obtained the green light from the club to terminate his contract and thus accept the proposal of another Serie A club, for which he will take on the role of head coach.
This is Mattioli’s greeting to the black and fuchsia environment: “I want to thank President Veronese and General Director Pavan for letting me seize this risky but highly challenging opportunity. It was an important gesture on their part, which testifies to the respect and affection on which the relationship we have built over time is based. I won’t forget it and I hope it’s just a goodbye. Thanks also to the staff, to Daniele Morato, to all the guys I had the pleasure of working with, and in particular to Fefè Garnica, my captain for three years. Thanks to Massimo Zambonin for always being there. Good luck and see you soon.”
The entire club thanks coach Mattioli for the commitment and professionalism demonstrated in over a year of working together and wishes him the best of luck in his new professional challenge.
