The anticipation for the SuperLega Credem Banca is growing more and more: after a summer characterized by the many emotions experienced thanks to the Italian national team, the most beautiful volleyball championship in the world returns from this Sunday.
It will be an exceptional stage to host the Kick-Off of the 2023/24 SuperLega: the PalaPanini match between Valsa Group Modena and Allianz Milano will be broadcast this Sunday live on Rai 2 starting from 4.00 pm (with the match starting set for 3.45pm), with commentary by Maurizio Colantoni and Andrea Lucchetta.
“Being able to inaugurate our championship on Rai 2 fills us with pride and responsibility – declared Massimo Righi, the President of the Serie A Volleyball League – We are in fact extremely proud as the media attention that volleyball is now under everyone’s eyes capable of generating, among enthusiasts and beyond. The choice to broadcast the first SuperLega match on Rai 2 was certainly dictated by the universal language that is now the volleyball court. However, we know that such visibility necessarily imposes on us an even greater sense of responsibility: first of all we must continue to defend the values of sportsmanship and respect that we profess in our game, secondly we must valorise this opportunity, continuing to work hard to bring volleyball further above. We thank the editorial staff of Rai Sport for the prestigious showcase they have granted us.”
Rai Sport Live, broadcast on Rai 2 every Sunday at 4.00 pm, is a new format that has broadcast live some of the most important sporting events and some important matches from various championships since the beginning of October.
Many confirmations, numerous returns, some transfers and several new faces in the various SuperLega Credem Banca teams, in addition to the many protagonists of the national teams of the European Championship, VNL and the Olympic Qualifiers, and the Azzurri with their ever-present smile, are ready for their debut.
