For the blue and whites of Farmitalia Saturnia it’s starting to get serious. Preparation for the 2023/24 Credem Banca Super League becomes increasingly demanding and, day after day, the players raise the bar on a journey that will take them to Sir Safety Perugia on 22 October.
“Something is now starting to change on a physical level – explains mister Waldo Kantor – we are feeling the first aches and pains, because the body is resuming its work rhythm after the months of stoppage”.
We are therefore starting to get more and more into the technicalities, with increasingly demanding tactical work, adds Kantor: “They are professional players who give everything, who know how far they can go and don’t hold back. Some come from several years of Super League and this means that they themselves know how to behave with total awareness of their potential. Longer training sessions don’t scare them and they look straight at the goal.”
Kantor doesn’t just talk about athletic training and volleyball, but also about character: “They are involved, they want to make themselves known and be appreciated not only as volleyball players, but also as men and they are doing so by also knowing the territory in which they live, thanks to complicity of Randazzo, Frumuselu and Zappoli who are providing them with the keys to understanding this land”.
Now the wait is for the friendly match against Modica scheduled for next September 20th at 6.30 pm at PalaCatania: “That appointment will not only be about volleyball, but it will be the first handshake with those who will support us throughout the season is now upon us.”
On the occasion of the friendly match against Modica, the season ticket cards will be delivered, in an absolute preview, to those who have chosen their place at PalaCatania by August 31st and it will be possible to sign up on the same afternoon.
