Another spiker for Lagonegro Volleyball, the athlete Samuel Dietre born in 2000 originally from Trento. At a very young age he began playing for Trentino Volleyball from 2015 to 2019 where over the years the club rose from Serie D to Serie B. He was called up to A3 in 2020 by UniTrento, remaining in his native land in the following years, in 2021/22 in San Donà di Piave and in 2022/23 in Monselice, a city in the Veneto region, still in Serie A3.

“I am really happy to join the Rinascita Volleyball family. It’s a historic society with many years in Serie A behind it and everyone has described it to me as a perfectly organized reality that is hungry for Volleyball. They spoke equally well of coach Lorizio, a coach with a very important palmares and who everyone described to me as a serious and dedicated worker. It is certainly for these two reasons that I decided to embrace the Lagonegro project, also because I still have a great desire to grow both from a technical and human point of view and there are the perfect conditions to be able to do so. I come from two quite difficult years, in which I decided to stay close to home due to university commitments. Now I can finally fully dedicate myself to volleyball and I want to be able to improve as much as possible to be able to give the team a big hand. Furthermore, in my role we will all be very young athletes and I hope from the outset to be able to bond and establish a healthy competition that will lead us to give our best on the pitch. At team level we will see over time what the goal to aim for will be: the level of the A3 has grown a lot in recent years and therefore we will have to give our best every Sunday. It will be my first year away from home so I can’t wait to feel the warmth of the fans on and off the pitch!”

These are the statements of the spiker Dietre who can’t wait to start the championship wearing the red and white shirt.
