Valuable confirmation for second line operations: Sebastiano Santi is still a lion.

The libero born in 1998 will wear the green-and-white shirt for the second consecutive year. An opportunity to confirm the good things he had already shown in Serie A2, carving out playing spaces and demonstrating that the field can keep him in great shape.

Able to make his way even among the sympathy of the public, Seba will finally be able to experience the atmosphere of the PalaGrassato as a protagonist: “I think that the PalaGrassato is considered by the whole category as one of the most “uncomfortable” arenas, as well as for the numerical presence, precisely for the passion and warmth of the fans.
Between covid and bureaucratic problems, the fans haven’t been able to follow us properly for 3 years… I hope this will be the year in which the bedlam that I remember as an opponent can return, and above all a point of reference for the entire city of Motta”.

Last year was a difficult year but despite this you chose to stay. What did you like about Motta?

“Last year’s difficulties have now been archived. When I chose to stay, I only wanted to look to the future, which with this staff certainly promises to be interesting. I was struck by the character of this club, able to always get back into the game even when it seemed impossible to do it”.

The team is revolutionized but promises to be among the most competitive in the tournament. What do you expect?

“Revolutionary yes, but with many players that I know well and with whom there is a friendship. I think this is a fundamental aspect, which will allow us to immediately create an important amalgam and to further enhance the technical qualities we possess as a team to aim for the important positions in the standings”.

The A3 is a category that you know very well what do you think the difficulties of the championship could be and how are they faced?

“The biggest mistake one can make in a championship like A3 is to think that something is taken for granted, especially for those who, like us, descend from the higher category. In these cases the expectations are always high and consequently also the pressure. We have to be good at keeping our feet on the ground even with the awareness of being able to do something really important”.
