Gianluca Graziosi then returns to coach Emma Villas Volley. He returns three years after his first Sienese experience: in 2019-2020 the blue and white team, led by coach Graziosi, enjoyed a great year in the Serie A2 championship. And in March, just three days after the end of the regular season and just before the start of the playoffs, the tournament stopped due to the Covid pandemic when the Sienese team was first in the standings.
Now the return to Siena, after his second experience in Bergamo. Graziosi received the compliments of the President Giammarco Bisogno on the occasion of the press conference held on Tuesday by the top manager of the white and blue club, who declared: “He is a very good coach and knows the square. We had an excellent experience with him, we were first in the standings in the 2019-2020 season when the championship was blocked. We have great faith in him.”
The Emma Villas Volley coach has already made a stop at PalaEstra and trained with the boys of the Sienese youth sector. “I am very happy to be here again – these are the first words of coach Graziosi after his return to the Sienese bench. – It is a path that we had interrupted the year of Covid. I hope that we can still do well and work profitably as happened in that season. I am very happy to be back in this club, which is among the most famous in Italy in terms of volleyball. Things are done right in Siena. I hope to be able to repay the trust of Giammarco Bisogno and Fabio Mechini who strongly wanted me back here again. I will put all of myself into the work”.
President Giammarco Bisogno has already announced four signings of players who will be part of the blue and white roster next season. The market is carried out jointly by the club with the new Siena coach: “They are four high-level players for the Serie A2 championship – these are the words of the new coach of Emma Villas Volleyball. – We have worked together on market planning and continue to do so. I’ve already coached Milan and Copelli, Krauchuk played in Santa Croce and I know him well, Nevot will be his first experience in Italy and I think he’s a very interesting setter prospect. I am confident and very happy with these four signings.”
