Children are the heart of Christmas: their smiles as they open packages, their joyful laughter and their enthusiasm make the whole holiday season better. But there are also children who, unfortunately, will not be able to spend these days at home because they are in hospital. To make their stay better, however, there are nurses and doctors, ready to stand by the family members and their little patients to make everyone spend a Christmas of love and hope.
Yesterday, the Pediatrics ward of the Mother Teresa of Calcutta hospital in Schiavonia welcomed a delegation from Tmb Monselice, who came by to bring good wishes from all of society to the ward and gifts for all the little patients. Once again, we are proud to be able to actively participate in the development and well-being of an open and helpful community that supports us every day on our journey.
