It’s a hat-trick: the Cantagalli surname dominates the Reggio roster. It was announced at the press conference of Villa Cupido the presence of both sons of ‘Bazooka’ in the Volley Tricolore team: Diego, the opposite who already played in the Giallorossi ranks last year, and Marco, free from the Reggio team for 2022/23 .
Will you play together and dad trains you, are you worried about the home – locker room division?
Marco: “Playing with my father and my brother will be strange at first, Diego and I faced each other in the youth sector but we never played together; I think there will be no problems in the locker room, of course we will have to find a balance with the group as well. ”
Diego: “It will be a division to be managed in a perfect way: the other players could see him in a negative way, even if dad knows the merits of each member of the team and with him who deserves it will take the field. I am convinced that knowing us will not present problems ”.
What do you expect from next season?
Diego: “Next season will certainly be difficult, the level will rise and we will have the spotlight on us thanks to the season that has just ended. I am convinced that we will take away some satisfaction, I am confident in the group that is forming “.
Marco: “I am expecting a different championship, certainly more difficult than the game I am used to, I come from two years of Beach Volleyball and first Serie B in Modena. Being part of a Serie A2 team for the first time is a strong emotion, I have the opportunity to face and learn from highly experienced players; being able to compare myself with them is stimulating, but above all it will help me to grow at the level of play “.
