The home team is coming from a convincing win at PalaFlorio in Bari, a clear 3-0 over Bcc Castellana Grotte, with an infinite last third set, won by Fabio Soli’s team 37-35. Will be a very interesting game.
Gi Group Monza – Calzedonia Verona. Nikola Grbic’s team won all the seven matches between Verona and Monza in volleyball history. Now Miguel Angel Falasca’s team is ready to break this trend and snap the winning streak of Verona over the team of Brianza. Monza is coming from the clear loss on wednesday in Civitanova at Eurosuole Forum versus defending champs Lube, on the other side of the net Calzedonia is coming from the 3-1 win over Sora, good for the fourth place in the standings.
Diatec Trentino – Wixo LPR Piacenza. Historical challenge between these two teams, 35 wins for Trento and 18 for Piacenza. Angelo Lorenzetti’s team is back to win last wednesday on road at PalaBianchini in Latina over Taiwan Excellence, after the double loss versus Perugia in Italian Cup and in Superleague, kepping the fifth place in the standings.
