In the second leg of the CEV Cup Quarter Finals, Trentino Itas makes no concessions. On stage in front of the friendly audience at the ilT Quotidiano Arena, the yellow-blues beat the French side Chaumont VB 52 in three sets, thus giving themselves access to the semi-finals of the second most important European cup. A well-conducted match that allowed Fabio Soli’s men to secure the pass to the next round, and which reiterated the three-point success in the first leg match, which saw Trento win 3-1 in France. Top scorer of the evening Kamil Rychlicki, who finished with 14 points scored; Alessandro Michieletto also scored in double figures (13 points). The Semi-final will pit the Turkish team Ziraat Ankara against Itas, which can count on some old acquaintances from the Italian top league, including the American Anderson and the French Clevenot, both spikers, while the opposite is the Slovenian Stern; also an Italian among the ranks of Ziraat, namely Zonca, seen at work in the SuperLega in Ravenna. This will be the first official precedent between the two teams, who only faced each other in an unofficial match in October 2014. The dates, not all yet officialised, will see the first leg semi-final between 11 and 13 March, in Trento, while the return match will be played in Türkiye on 19 March, at 5pm Italian time. First, for Trento, the last Regular Season match of SuperLega Credem Banca, with the match on Sunday 2 March at 6.00 pm against Sonepar Padova.
