Just under a week until the 2024 edition of the Volley Market: from Tuesday 16th to Thursday 18th July, the managers and staff of the Serie A clubs will move to the “Zanhotel & Meeting Centergross in Bentivoglio” (Bologna), for three days of meetings, gatherings, discussion tables and various insights. The “2024/25 Season and Calendar Presentation” will close the event on Thursday 18 July, at 2.30 pm, kicking off the 80th Championship.
One of the most anticipated events within the three days is in fact that of Thursday 18th when, from 2.30 pm, the matches and the respective days of the calendars for the next season of Serie A Credem Banca and the Del Monte® SuperLega events will be discovered, Series A2 and A3. The opening act of a season that promises to be exciting from now on: the calendars will be revealed day after day, with musical and comic interludes that will further enrich the volleyball afternoon.
The host will be journalist Maurizio Colantoni, a stable and unmistakable voice of SuperLega commentary on Rai channels. The presentation of the calendars will be broadcast live on YouTube on the Serie A Volleyball League channel.
Also within the “Presentation of the 2024/25 Season and Calendars”, the League Awards relating to the 2023/24 season will be awarded. All the awards from last season can be found here.
Furthermore, for the occasion, the winners of the other prizes still to be awarded will be revealed: the Stracca Prize, dedicated to the memory of the journalist Roberto Stracca, who passed away in 2010 and awarded to the best press officer of SuperLega, A2 and A3 and the ” Pistelli Award – Passion for Sport”, dedicated to the journalist Adelio Pistelli, who passed away in 2015 and awarded to those who distinguished themselves in the world of volleyball with their passion and love for our sport.
