Game 3 of the Play Off Scudetto SuperLega Credem Banca 2024 Semifinal will be played on Sunday 7 April at the IL Daily Arena. Ahead 2-0 in the series, Itas Trentino will appear again in front of their fans to try to close the score in the first of three opportunities available to close the series with Mint Vero Volley Monza. The Trentino coach will only have to do without Sbertoli; the rest of the squad will complete their preparation for the match this afternoon by supporting a technical-tactical session at the daily newspaper Arena. In the past, only on four other occasions has Trentino Volley found itself at 2-0 in a Scudetto Play Off Semifinal series which is divided into the best of five matches: 2009 edition (2-0 against Cuneo, match then closed at 3-0) , 2010 edition (2-0 against Macerata, a match that then ended at 3-1 because game 3 was won by Lube), 2022 edition (2-0 against Civitanova, who then won the three remaining matches, qualifying for the Final) and 2023 edition (2-0 against Piacenza, then defeated in the fifth match). More generally, in eight circumstances Trentino Volley found itself at 2-0 in a best-of-five series during its twenty-one participations in the Play Offs; only on two occasions did they not get through to the next round: in addition to the 2021/22 season with Cucine Lube, there is also the 2005 quarter-final match with Piacenza (lost 2-3).
