The ninth day of the Serie A2 Credem Banca men’s championship promises a second consecutive away match for Banca Macerata Fisiomed. In the canonical 6pm Sunday slot, the red and whites will be guests of Delta Group Porto Viro, a team that has already been the boys’ opponents several times in recent seasons. Another important opportunity arrives for the boys to try to bring home points to move away from the hot areas of the rankings and, why not, achieve their first victory of the season away from home.

The nerofuchsia, under the orders of coach Daniele Morato, currently occupy seventh position in the standings at 14 points (+5 on Macerata) thanks to the five victories obtained, including one in the tie-break. Every team at home seems to have an edge and Porto Viro is no different: its gym seems to be a really difficult fort to undermine (for them all 3-0 victories, excluding the defeat against Aversa). The credit certainly also goes to the talent, an evident aspect in the Venetian roster: from the explosive strength of the young opposite Arguelles to the class of Pedro Henrique Ferreira Silva, passing through the experience of Morgese and Sperandio, the hosts will certainly be opponents for Macerata to face with character, concreteness and a high level of volleyball.
