Remembering Daniele Bagnoli

We learn with profound sadness of the passing of Daniele Bagnoli, coach and extraordinary person, who passed away after a long illness. Born in Mantua on 25 October 1953, Bagnoli was one of the great architects of Modena’s victories in Italy and Europe. With the yellows the coach won 2 European Cups, 2 Scudetti, 3 Italian Cups, 1 Cup Winners’ Cup and a European Super Cup and gave life to a Modena team that no one will ever forget. Daniele was one of the greatest symbols of Italian volleyball in the world. Bagnoli was a man of few words and today we like to remember him by telling him that he was, is and will be part of the history of Modena.
