The FIVB has recently made official the calendar of the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, a competition for which Ferdinando De Giorgi’s Italian national team has also qualified. The Azzurri’s debut at the Olympics is scheduled for Saturday 27 July when, at 1.00 pm, the match against Brazil will be staged at the South Paris Arena.
The second match will see Italy clash against Egypt (Tuesday 30 July at 9.00 am), while the last match of the group stage is scheduled for Saturday 3 August, when the Azzurri will take on Poland at 5.00 pm.
The direct elimination phase will begin on August 5th, the day dedicated to the Quarter Finals. Two days later, on August 7, it will be the turn of the Semifinals. The final for the bronze medal is scheduled for Friday 9 August at 4.00 pm, while the final act of the event will be on Saturday 10 August at 1.00 pm.
