One of the most iconic players in the history of Italian and world volleyball at the court of Massimo Eccheli: Ivan Zaytsev will be part of the spiker department of MINT Vero Volley Monza for the 2024/2025 season. Born in Spoleto on 2 October 1988, the “Tsar” is ready to live a new experience in the Italian championship, after the last 3 seasons played with the Civitanova shirt. Perugia (2004-2006), Rome (2006-2007 and 2008-2012), Latina (2007-2008), Civitanova again (2012-2014), Sir Safety Perugia (2016-2018) and Modena (2018-2020) the others Zaytsev’s experiences in the Italian championship. The “Tsar’s” formidable palmares includes, among other trophies, 3 Italian Championships, 1 Italian Cup, 3 Italian Super Cups and 1 CEV Cup. Ivan Zaytsev has long been one of the most representative players of the Italian national team, with which he won – among other results – the historic silver medal at Rio 2016.
