Andrea Rossi returns to Emma Villas Siena. The middle blocker born in Bibbiena, born in 1989, therefore returns to play for the Sienese club after the experience already had at Emma Villas in the 2021-2022 season. It was not an easy year, with the Sienese still managing to maintain the category and achieved salvation in Serie A2. Rossi was the author of a good season, with 190 points scored in the 24 games played. He settled in well in Siena and was one of the players most appreciated by the fans.

In the following season the central defender returned to play in the Super League at Cisterna, a club in which he also played before moving to Siena. And it was in Cisterna, in the Super League, that Rossi played in the sports season that recently ended.

Now his return to Siena has materialized. Andrea Rossi has signed the contract that will link him to Emma Villas. He is the fifth player signed by the Sienese club for the next championship: before Rossi, the setter Thomas Nevot, the opposite player Gabriele Nelli, the central defender Stefano Trillini and the spiker Claudio Cattaneo were announced. The white and blue roster will continue to be coached by coach Gianluca Graziosi. The Sienese team that will take part in the next A2 series tournament is therefore taking shape day after day.

Andrea Rossi is the second central defender announced by Siena for the next tournament. Rossi will be Stefano Trillini’s teammate, a player confirmed after the good championship just played. At the center will be a quality and solidity department. The now former Cisterna is a very expert player, thanks to his fifteen seasons spent in the Super League to which he adds three years in Serie A2. In his long career Andrea Rossi has already exceeded 2,000 points scored.
