Emma Villas Volley Siena continues its physical preparation and prepares its pre-season test match programme. The Serie A2 volleyball tournament will start on October 15, the first match of the Tuscan team will be in Abruzzo, against Ortona.
It will be possible to participate in the pre-season events for free without the need to purchase tickets. Also, joint training locations and times may be subject to change throughout the week. But it will be the concern of the company to update any changes in time so as not to create inconvenience.
In the pre-season, the formation coached by coach Gianluca Graziosi will face various teams to test their form. The goal is obviously to increase the chemistry of a widely renewed group and the harmony between the various volleyball players that make up the roster.
Santa Croce and Ravenna, two teams in the Serie A2 championship, will be among the Sienese opponents in this phase of the year.
The first test match of Emma Villas Volley will be at home against Santa Croce sull’Arno in the “classic” Tuscan derby: appointment on 8 September.
Eight days later, on 16 September, the Sienese will play another home test match and the opponent in this circumstance will be Ravenna, one of the most accredited teams in the next A2 tournament.
On 23 and 24 September the blue and whites will move to Abruzzo, where they will take part in a quadrangular tournament in which Fano, Ravenna and Prata will also participate.
We will then enter the month of October, the starting month of the championship. Before the start of the tournament there will be room for two more test matches for the blue and whites: on October 1st the Sienese will go to Ravenna where they will face the Emilian team again.
On 8 October, exactly one week after the start of the A2 tournament, another away match on the calendar for coach Gianluca Graziosi’s team: a shorter distance away match, Emma Villas will go to Santa Croce sull’Arno where they will challenge the red and white locals.
