Sir Susa Vim Perugia returns to the PalaBarton today.
After a day of rest and recovery, the Block Devils returned to the Pian di Massiano headquarters to prepare for the last effort of 2023, the match on Saturday 30 December in Catania valid for the first return leg of the Super League.
Double work session for the Bianconeri who this morning carried out a session in the weight room under the orders of athletic trainer Sebastian Carotti while in the afternoon technical training is scheduled under the directions of coach Lorenzetti and his staff.
The preparation for the match against the Sicilian team will be very quick because then tomorrow morning the team will fly to the slopes of Etna and on Saturday morning they will carry out the final finishing touches directly at PalaCatania.
“We open the second half of the season with the away match against Catania,” says Massimiliano Giaccardi, assistant coach of Sir Susa Vim Perugia. “A difficult away match because, despite what the league table might suggest, we are facing a team that plays volleyball well, that up until now has battled with all its opponents, that absolutely needs points for its objective which is survival and who, at home, will be particularly keen to do well in front of their fans. We are coming off two consecutive defeats and want to return to success. As always in Super League matches, the serve, the block-defense correlation and in general the entire break phase will be very important in the economy of the match. We will prepare the match with great attention because we want to close 2023 in the best possible way and then dive into a very important January for our season.”
