A good structure is always judged from the foundations and it is exactly from there that the Videx Yuasa roster for next season begins to take shape. The Grotese partnership inaugurates the summer market starting from the backbone of coach Ortenzi’s well-tested 6+1, a setter-opposite diagonal that after Rasmus Breuning Nielsen sees the confirmation of one of the most representative directors of the national category volleyball scene. Manuele Marchiani, born in 1989, 185 cm tall, will wear the Grottazzolina shirt for the sixth consecutive year.

Thus begins a new chapter in the story between the athlete originally from Loreto and Videx Yuasa. A story that officially began in 2018 when Marchiani, five years after his last adventure in the Marches (2012/13 season in Loreto in Serie A2), chose to take off the Gioia del Colle jacket to embrace the M&G Volleyball School, thus inaugurating a cycle that will see him as the protagonist of one of the most prestigious parentheses of the Grotese sports narrative.

“I am extremely proud to be able to continue this adventure – declared Marchiani -. I am fortunate to work within a beautiful reality that has now become like a family for me, knowing that the company has chosen to renew its trust in me fills me with satisfaction.”

A choice that inevitably comes from a wider-ranging growth project: “What unites us is the constant desire to always do better – continued the setter from Grotto -. Since I’ve been here we’ve progressively raised the bar, we’ve set ourselves ever greater goals than the previous ones, one season after another, managing to hit them time after time. I always like to have new stimuli and with these premises we will start preparing for the new season to try and get something more than the championship that has just ended.”
