Another purchase for Conad, libero Filippo Pochini from the SuperLega arrives at Fanuli’s court: “I chose Reggio because I have great respect for Fanuli”.
One year in Siena and one year in Taranto, the Libero from Perugia comes from two seasons in Serie A1 and faces his fifth season in A2: “Like every year when the volleyball market opens, I feel a great emotion to sign with a new team; I have always seen Reggio as an opponent and now I will wear its colours. There are many players I know who have played for the Giallorossi and have always spoken highly of both the club and the city in general.”
Pochini also comes from a relegation with Emma Villas Aubay Siena, who had participated in the A1 championship with the title won by Reggio Emilia: “I come from a fluctuating season, but this too is part of the game; we found ourselves fighting until the end and we came out with our heads held high, in the second part of the championship we did much better, but now I’m ready to get involved”.
Pochini proves to be ready to start over, at the Volley Tricolore he will find former teammates and former opponents: “I want to get to know the environment and the new teammates, I am enthusiastic about being able to work with Fanuli, also because we have always played in the same role and I have full faith in him, despite it being his first year as Head Coach. I don’t have personal goals at the moment, but I believe that important goals can be achieved with daily work in the gym”.
