Brugherio has chosen his opposite: for the 2023/24 season of the Serie A3 Credem Banca championship, the Bulgarian opposite Iliyan Prespov will fill the role of “bomber” in seat 2.
25 years old, almost two metres, Prespov is not new to the A3 series. In fact, he made his debut in Italy, after four years in the top-flight championships in Bulgaria, between Sofia, Razlog and Ivkoni, first in Palmi in the 2021/22 season, third place in the regular season and quarter-finals both in the promotion playoffs and in the Italian Cup , then in Lecce last season, a brief spell in the Apulian shirt archived at the end of October when Prespov then returned to his homeland among the ranks of SKV Montana.
Power and experience were the decisive factors in making the choice of the club’s sports technical direction fall on him, considering Prespov the right player for the squad.
