The 2022/23 sports season of Monge-Gerbaudo Savigliano will start about two hours away from the home stadium, on Sunday 9 October on the first day of the Serie A3 Credem Banca on the Gamma Chimica Brugherio field.
Two teams with similar ranking ambitions and who have already had the opportunity to “test each other” in the joint training held on 10 September in Savigliano face each other. In that case, the young “Pink Devils” trained by coach Durand (2-1) won, but at the end of a hard-fought match conditioned by the wide rotations designed by the two technicians, in what was in fact the first pre-test – seasonal for both.
On the other hand, the history of the previous ones, all played in the past season, is in perfect equality. Savigliano won the first leg away from home, winning 3-1, yielding with the same score between the friendly walls in the return leg. The fact that they were two balanced matches is confirmed on both occasions by the partials of the quarterfinals and decisive sets: 32-30 in the first leg for the Piedmontese, 33-31 in the return leg for the Lombards.
