The preparation of Macerata continues as the start of the new Serie A3 championship is approaching. Med Store Tunit is facing an intense week full of commitments and between Tuesday 13 and Wednesday 14 they faced two important friendlies against Vigilar Fano, the next opponent of the Girone Bianco, and Cucine Lube Civitanova, champion of Italy.
At the Banca Macerata Forum the red and white won 3 to 0 on Fano, at the end of a hard-fought match that the hosts have always had under control. Med Store Tunit starts well ahead in the first set 8-5, Fano fails to recover and in the final the advantage extends with a +7 for the Macerata players who finally close 25-20. Reaction of the guests in the second set, they take the lead but the Med Store Tunit overturns everything and again manages to escape by controlling the game, 25-19. Pulled the last set, the two teams chase each other, Fano stretches 13-16 but suffers the return of the red and white, good at resuming the match in the final and closing the match 25-23.

In the second match of the week, the red and white visited the Eurosuole Forum in Civitanova. The teams gave life to an interesting test where the hosts won in three sets, to which was added a fourth agreed by the two coaches. Good start to the race for the Med Store Tunit who holds the advantage for most of the first set, but in the final the Lube flips and stretches, 19-25. The second set starts balanced but the hosts soon impose themselves and this time the Macerata are unable to stop them, 14-25. The game returns to balance in the third set, where the Med Store Tunit responds to the advantage of Lube and moves forward, then giving life to a tight and well-played final, in which the home team wins, 22-25. Meanwhile, the two formations change a lot, giving space to different players and in the fourth set Lube escapes 10-16, Macerata manages to shorten in the final but also the fourth set closes in favor of the opponents, 19-25.
