From the victory of the last three championships with the Cucine Lube Civitanova shirt topped with two Italian Cups and a Champions League in four years of stay in the Marche region, Robertlandy Simon returns to be the protagonist in Piacenza with the Gas Sales Bluenergy Volley Piacenza shirt.
He returns to Piacenza where he played from 2012 to 2014, winning an Italian Cup and a Challenge Cup. A summer of work with the Cuban national team awaits him before diving into the SuperLega, to begin his seventh season in Italy.
Simon, welcome back to Piacenza.
“Thank you very much. I am very happy to be happy to be here, now I will be part of this project, a good project that we hope will bring good results”.
What convinced you to return to Piacenza.
“This has always been my home, I’ve been away for a long time but I promised I’d be back and the time has come. They made me come back and I’m here, I’m very happy to be here and I really hope to be as happy as I was before but I have no doubts about that “.
What do you expect from the new season.
“We will have to work a lot that surely, I want to win and everyone involved will want what I want but it doesn’t just depend on me, it depends on the whole team, it depends on all the staff, it depends on all of us. But we will have to work a lot and I think the work will be well paid ”.

“I love them, I’ve always loved them because since the day I left Piacenza every time I went to play somewhere even if I didn’t have the Piacenza shirt they made me cry a few times, I’m I am very happy to be here and I thank them for everything they have always done for me.
