Three seasons out of four in the history of Geetit Volleyball Bologna will have the signature of the director Filippo Govoni. Fundamental piece of the promotion in A3, “Govo” had left the Emilian capital to defend the other team in the region, getting further closer to home where his son Pietro was added to wait for him. The relationship between the setter and the Bolognese club has never cracked and in the 22-23 season the two sides will fight together again.
It is no coincidence that the first player to be announced is him, a face known to the fans as well as to the whole volleyball scene. Filippo has outstanding technical and tactical qualities as well as human qualities that make him a player of great balance: a real pillar for the Petronian club.
