After the win of Sixth Championship, Cucine Lube Civitanova executives shared their feelings about it:
FABIO GIULIANELLI (AD Gruppo Lube): “all the wins are great, especially Superleague, a success one season long. Today’s win is a bit differente, because came in a delicate moment of the world, external things always let us to lose the focus. But we have been focused, and we closed the season as champions”.
SIMONA SILEONI (Presidente Cucine Lube Civitanova): “we were really outstanding and terrific in final series. Without the audience at Eurosuole Forum, I turned myself into an hardcore fan, screaming with all the voice I had. We made big investments showing our winning mentality, in the market and in volleyball”.
ALBINO MASSACCESI (vice Presidente Cucine Lube Civitanova): “In a such a tough season winning Italian Cup and Superleague was the best. We made history, it was 15 years that a club didn’t won the championship for two season in a row. We have a regret for last season, we were in Champions League Final and in Playoffs in Superleague, maybe we could win three Superleague in a row. This is the best, for this season, we program and plan, to reach this level, so this club, together with the players, deserves this win”.
BEPPE CORMIO (DG Cucine Lube Civitanova): “we overcome plenty of osbstacles in this season, we as all italian volleyball so we need to made big props to everybody. We made choices, unpopular and sad, as we did with a great coach and man as Fefè De Giorgi. Any responsabilities from both sides, things happen, and we found back a motivated and focused team, who overcome Modena in playoffs, winning half championship over there, without De Cello and Leal. As I sadi we made chices, making bets, we turned Sokolov in Rychlicki, we were sure with De Cecco after Bruno, and I have to thank the club for made me able to make the right decision, without limit me. And I want to thank my 21 year old daughter Gaia, who came here with me in Civitanova helping the club, she was the first person I hugh after the win. This win is for her”
