Three weeks after the first double header between Italy and Serbia, the Lube Treia “Derby” is back in the World League this weekend. On the Italian side, the Treia players will be Blengini and Sabbi, while the Serbian have Podrascanin and Stankovic. So far it’s 1-1, with Serbian taking the opening game 3-1 and Italy taking revenge 3-2 in the second encounter.
Meanwhile, Treia’s setter Micah Christenson will line up with the USA against Russia, while French libero Jenia Grebennikov will try to help his national team add to a 9-game winning streak following yesterday’s 3-0 win over Japan when they entertain the Asian team again on Saturday in Rouen.
