Graziosi’s boys are coming off their first victory, which occurred in four sets at the expense of Corigliano. A good training week too as the team benefitted from the presence of two foreigners on trial.
“We had been to Ortona with a re-arranged roster and got a breakthrough as we were full of confidence – said Giuseppe Della Corte about a pre-season game – I had scored 33 in one of my best games since I wear the Potenza shirt. That day, I didn’t feel like there was a great team in front of us, but now the league table clearly tells a different story. We’re facing a very tough task”.
