It’s been an unforgettable year 2008 for Cavriago. Indeed, the team was promoted to A2 and the youth ranks of the club have greatly improved. Cavriago has become the main reference of the area, all the more so since it has been decided to play the home games in Reggio Emilia. A surprising 1200 crowd on average is another success for the club, who is happy to be able to offer Serie A volleyball to its fans.
The 2008-09 had started brilliantly with the debut win over Latina. Up until now, the team grabbed important victories against Loreto, Castelfidardo, Mantova and Città del Castello, meaning the team stands in a comfortable 12th spot so far in the league.
On Saturday Cavriago travels to Latina, who is third and extremely tough to manoeuvre in its home gym. Still, with Baldasseroni back in the team, Guidetti’s boys they can obtain a good result.
